my favorite fabric made into a coat! yoshiko jinzenji fabric - we called it ‘patches’ but I have since learned that it possibly says ‘happy birthday’ in a pictoral language that she made up. pattern is modified from a japanese pattern book that mio told me was titled ‘she always has the natural thing’: ISBN 978-4-579-11234-0.
